this is a freight train used in coal mines. And those are probably the only places you can see steamer like this. They got tons of coals why bother using a diesle egine?

they built that pass in less time than the uk would spend thinking about it. their talking about 2020 for a short piece of dual carriage road in our area.they seem to be leaving us trailing in infrastructure.

Steffanl. Many years ago I was loading steel in Port Kembla for Europe and other ships were discharging steel sections from Europe!!But,of course all the "gentlemen" involved in these transactions were honourable men.I have seen "coal to Newcastle" all over the world.Something is seriously wrong with the "System",that is for sure.

As soon as oil runs low and gets shit expensive, these will come back in some form in places were electrification is too difficult or too expensive.

Yep, and those grandchildren will say "Ah, those grandparents of ours are idiots! They destroy the earth, and now we have to go clean it up?! I think it should be the other way around Mister!"
why is the smoke black on the QJ american video?

@efastMixer The majority of the exhaust from the locos in this clip is actually steam (and therefore white). Black smoke generally results when coal is initially put into the firebox.
