Free-OCR.com is a free online OCR (Optical Character Recognition) tool. You can use this to perform OCR on any image you supply.

This service is free, no registration necessary. We also do not need your email address.

Just upload your image files. Free-OCR takes either PDF, JPG, GIF, TIFF or BMP format.

The only restriction is that the images must not be larger than 2MB, no wider or higher than 5000 pixels and there is a limit of 10 image uploads per hour.

ok so like lets say ur doing something with like boxes or watever(i.e. a rubric)...itll get the riting and stuff like the document u have but it wont get it in the like the exact way or am i just doing it rong?

u pretty get what you bargained for what more do you want? sorry lol ... well i just tried plain documents i dunno about boxes. One practice would be to separate the boxes using an image editor. thats all i got

smart people ? No you can use microsoft paint and cut the part you want and save it to a NEW IMAGE and try the OCR tool.

does it also copy signatures and stamps.... i am guessing that it doesnt... man i would love to have a software that could actually let me edit original scanned documents with stamp, signatures and what not, into anything i want...!!!

Buddy this service is ok for alpha-numeric charachters in an image. If you have math equations & formulaes it doesn''t work & FYI, this OCR feat can be achieved with MS Office Document Imaging & OneNote
