This was my first game created using the Neverwinter Nights 2 Toolset, during the third year of Games Design BSc at The University of Bolton. I designed the level, scripted (code) and wrote the dialog for the game.

I used this game to experiment with the NWN2 Toolset and build an understanding before I began work on my larger project (See Sherlock Holmes & Dr Watson - A Case of Torment NWN2 video).

'A Quest for the Answer to the Meaning of Life'

The scenario:-

An explorer (the player) has travelled from afar in search of the one called 'The Messenger'. He is searching for the answer to the Meaning of Life?

____________________________________________

Part 3

Once the Traveller acquires the Devils parchment, Hell's army attacks and Satan warns him to leave!

Journal Entry Three:-

The Devil's tricks proved a challenge, however, now you have his Parchment take it back to God.

The Traveller makes his way back to God. He then hands over the Devil's Parchment and is handed God's Message.

Journal Entry Four:-

As expected God Kept his word and you have the Holy Message. Make haste and return it to the Priest.

The Traveller (player) is unable to decipher the message if they examine it.

The Priest takes God message from the Traveller and says:

'My child it merely says, (The Meaning of Life is...) I can't read his handwriting. Still your wisdom of life has improved, thank the lord for that.'

Journal Entry Five:-

The quest is completed and the player receives an ability increase of 'wisdom +1' as a reward.

  • @Arrroza I can tell you.

On the weapon's properties window, scroll down to 'item properties'. open the property altering window, and you will find a scrolling menu, a properties box, and an attributes list. By double-clicking on a trait in the properties menu, you add it to the list of attributes. Then, by selecting that property on the list, you can alter it in the properties box (lower right-hand).

You can also change the 'property activation', the item's special effect, and it's price.

  • nice, one hellish place :D

  • Very creative, i dont think i could build even 1 level of a module, though i never tried completely. Could you just inform me how to make a weapon? not a regular one, a custom one with stats and damage you put in it. thanks. if you figure out a way, message me a download link for that module.
