Now that I'm done poofing from excitement- I'd first like to say that.. my bum hurts. A lot. You know, it's really cool how when a horse scrambles out from under you because he freaked himself out, you don't just float in mid-air like you'd like to. No, gravity's just a biatch. And she has to throw you into the dirt like a sack of potatoes. So my bum hurts, and my neck is sore, but Peppy's JUST FINE. I can't be mad at him though because he was doing so well before he freaked out. It's just Peppy. ....
SO, without further interuption, HERE is my explanation of this deeply rooted piece of visual pie. Wait, lemme clear my throat... AHEM!
Sometimes, you just have to let it go. Sometimes we as humans tend to hole ourselves up in the deepest, darkest recesses of our minds and we get stuck there with no hope of ever recovering what we lost. You feel empty. You feel isolated, and you feel impossibly alone. But what I wanted to express in the video is that there is light at the end of the tunnel. There is an iridescent quality in all of us, and the world itself has an iridescent quality to it. The colors differ depending on your viewpoint, and if you stay in those deep, dark recesses of your mind, then you'll never see the true brilliance that shines in everyone. I think that people who have horses branded into their blood see the colors of the world through the tints of their horse's soul, even if they can't quiet seem to see the colors of their own. It's, I think, partly why some of us bond so readily and strongly with horses. We see OUR light, OUR iridescence, through THEM. So the next time you find yourself shrinking back to black and white, think of the array of colors you can see when you've closed the gap between you and your equine companion, that moment when you "let it go," and see the world come alive.
I hope you can make sense of that, it took a while to think, plan, and eventually get down in words. xDD
