I'm pre-op to --the change I looking forward to is having more energy and just being able to put on clothes that I feel good in and go out door!

i'm only a month out -and i'm telling you now- my whole world has tipped! its like that quote about running in a race. . . the gun goes off and everything changes. - well the gun has gone off for me! The biggest change so far-- i think is my attitude - and its the thought that YES - THIS TIME. this time I can do it. This time I will succeed. I will save my life and I will make it. That is a very rewarding thought =) My changes so far are mostly internal and mental. My attitude is now YES I CAN!

great video....really great questions. I actually want to think about it and comment with fully formed thoughts.
I can tell you in my 2+months post op, there are changes that you can expect, changes that you never expected but they happened, changes that you hope would happen but then don't, etc....
lots to talk about on this topic! Great job!

YES YES I have those same questions and thoughts. Change, I am almost afraid to expect things to be different. I'm afraid that it won't be different. The way people treat me, the way I respond to people. ...... Must be positive....Can't control everything or everyone..... Its going to be OK.....
There, mini rant over ..I'll Be fine and so will you..

keep up the positive outlook, great video
Ok, I am a bit of a newbie at this, as I am only 2 weeks out from my surgery, BUT.... That feeling like you are 80 when you get out of bed in the morning.. GONE!!!!!!!! I almost can't believe it. I am sleeping better and I have no more pain in my joints and my knees especially. I was having trouble going up the stairs before, not anymore. I am looking forward to people treating me better, although I do have mixed feelings about it.
