"A new unified Google privacy policy is coming in March. The big change: Google clearly states that it will combine information from signed-in users from one product to other Google products in order to show more relevant search results and ads."

Thanks to the always informative NibiruMagick2012 for informing me/us about this... meow... http://www.youtube.com/NibiruMagick2012

I (Sheilaaliens), for one, hate that Google customizes ads and search results based on a person's search history. A person's search history should not affect the future information/results the searches return.

I was looking at some vintage Alan Watts pictures.... well... Now I keep seeing this poster store ad everywhere on websites, with those same exact pictures/posters. Very annoying. I dont want my internet to work like that. I want it to be un-bias and not to crowd me into a corner, keeping new information from reaching my eyeballs.

If I search for anything about volcanoes, in the first few results is always an old article about a volcanic eruption that happened in the late 1800s in Tucson, Arizona - where I live. At first I thought, WOW what a coincidence, I'm in Tucson! It must be fate that I have found this article and I'm supposed to read it, or it has some deeper meaning or foretelling. Well, no, it doesn't and serendipity had nothing to do with my seeing that article. I asked someone else in a different state to perform the same search - the Tucson volcanic eruption article result is, of course, not at all on any of the first pages of results. For THEM. What the fuck.

Anonymous, where you at :) Where's my prog to bypass this :)

  • Even Fox News is talking sense into this.

  • @xth3k0wxh1ms3lfx your an idiot anyway so why would anyone listen to you

  • for those retards like the one on 3:34 who thinks that google is gonna take over all our privacy...... don't make a google account and shut the fuck up! This doesn't have to do anything with the SOPA and PIPA shit... they have been collecting what website we go and the stuff we watch just to make it viral... so if you are scared of the new "monopoly" (like the dumbasses of fox news said) go to yahoo and make and email account and go search on bing.
