bro before you get this you should know stuff about it. The Asus eee pc 900 comes in 8 gigssd(solid state drive) or 16 gig ssd. That is not enought space to do anything on at all. For 80 US dollars more making for 189.42 british pounds you get all that plus a 160 gig hard drive disk that can be removed and replaced with a larger hard drive. it is called the Asus Eee Pc 900HA (the HA makes a huge difference)

@jkkmobile I have the 15GB version that I can take out, is it faster? if so, what are the speeds?
also.. is it an option to put a harddisk in somehow?

@jeffrey9876543211111 or, just buy the 900 and for about 100$ stick a runcore pro SSD in there, muuuch faster than anything else + reasonable capacity

@10mrguitar if you mean storage, theres 8GB of SSD....but no optical/CD/DVD drive, hope that helps

1. What's the speed of 4GB soldered SSD?
2. Can 3G modems be used on the Eee PC's pci-e slot instead of SSD?
