Sorry for the poor sound quality. You might have to turn your volume way up to hear it.

  • @jso. I have just seen too many people hold it actively and get themselves into trouble. I agree we don't differ in ideas though. I appreciate that you like my videos. My theory is everyone thinks differently and so I try and say the same thing in different ways, hoping to reach different thinkers.

  • @jsoward...I will give the same response I did to you on the other video. I love it when people disagree with me and then make my point for me. You are not supposed to actively hold the angle. You "ALLOW" the release to happen naturally through centrifugal force. Actively holding the angle with your hands not only fights this, it isolates your hands from the rest of your body and will make your pivot stall if you actively hold it.

  • Learning to release this way has helped my game and made me more consistent. I don't hit is far but it's in play and far enough !

  • You correctly describe CF in another video. I guess we are really talking about the same thing but you just don't mention it here. I teach people to hold the angle of their wrists to give them a sense of the centrifugal force and just allow the force to naturally release the golf club. I'm not showing them to fight it, don't miss understand. I would rather people hold the angle then throw their leverage and flip the clubhead.

PS, I love your videos lots of great information.

  • Holding your angles in your wrists deep into your downswing has nothing to do with being on or off plane. I can just as easily be on or off plane with any of those releases. When you are demonstrating the holding release you are under plane because you are not pivoting to your left side properly. Allowing physics or centrifugal force to release your wrists you DO NOT have to time any gradual release you are describing.
