Rosslyn Lady Chapel is (basically) a 15th Century "CD" and using an ancient/natural way of recording sequences of pitch/frequencies. We call this system today 'Cymatics' also known as Chladni Patterns)Cymatics is natures "resonant notational system', a music system and language that visually display's the frequency of pitch in amazing geometric patterns and are inherent in the fabric of nature-produced using very simple apparatus.

The designers applied this formula to record the music.

An angel/music cipher that points out 3 notes of the music to The Rosslyn Motet accounting for 70% of the entire cube sequence. It is so subtle a decoy that you are supposed to think it is a musician playing a Harp or Psaltery, but when you look in detail, he is actually pointing strategically at 3 different lines and spaces of a stave of music. Referring to the first 3 cubes rising above his head. Please excuse the typo's.

Because instrument makers for 5000 years (Chinese Gongs, Violins etc etc) are all designed using 'sound patterns' (Cymatics) to tune them. The phenomenon has been know for over 5000 years maybe even longer since it is an integral fabric of the universal laws of physics.

thanks Stuart for your amazing contribution to the (disputed) legacy of the Knights Templar (i am currently studying the 11th - 15th century papacy), whether or not they were involved with the cymatics at Rosslyn, the music boxes certainly represent their methods of coding, yours is a truly beautiful discovery and i sincerely hope you encounter and decipher more ancient riddles!

Cymatics was known to the Chinese as far back as 5000 years ago, its how they 'tuned' Gongs in the Alchemy of Chinese Gong making. The Tibetan' s also used Cymatics in the construction of their Singing Bowls so its not surprising to find an awareness of this phenomenon in the 15th century. All you need is a flat resonant surface, some sand and a violin bow. All these materials were readily available during these times.

It's truly amazing that anyone would think to do this! Even if this isn't what they were intended for, what's been done here is fantastic :)

just out of curiosity, why does it sound contemporaneous to the era the chapel was built? for all we know it may be something completely different than we can ever imagine and only those adept in the mystery schools knew this.

The only exception is that we must view the notes from the perspective of the one holding them which means at present they are being played upside down and backwards.
