His father is Greek and his mother from Portugal, but he has been raised by his grandmother (his dad's mum) since the age of 3.
He lost his beloved grandmother the PREVIOUS day of the Greek final for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest........!
He learnt the news about this loss right after he had won the contest. Unbelievable eh??
He's very modest and a real artist.
