I had this and a capsular repair. 4 weeks after operation I was jumped on by someone out at a club and i lifted them up with both hands (while sling was loosely on) and threw them off. I was in no pain because i was drinking. However in the morning occassionally felt sharp pain, muscle twitches and aching and was sure that I had torn a ligament or something. My surgeon said it was highly unlikely unless it was in external rotation. Does anyone know how strong sutures are?
How many years following original injury can this procedure still be effective?
For instance, are 20 year old injuries still repairable?
Over 10 full anterior dislocations ranging from 20 to 10 years ago
