  • This is why TWIT is worth watching, even here in Scotland!

  • @chuckiej My point is that you are part of a financially insignificant minority of puritans that want the world to cater to your idea of morality. Unfortunately for you, it's not the real world the rest of us live in.

  • @chuckiej Basically, you have not presented a sound argument as to why they should ignore my plea.

  • @Beaupedia I appreciate your knowledge of TWiT. I also am keeping up with such things. Leo and Lisa have made it pretty clear that they are not going to keep the status quo. New shows, new hosts, will slowly join the team; the Network will keep growing. But in order to keep certain shows afloat, we need to get more viewers to the network. Thankfully the TWiT show itself is doing pretty well. But yes, offending a potentially large group of geeks with a simple thing like show titles is a bad idea.

  • @fooey88 I have to agree, while Oh Doctah seems like a nice enough guy, he doesn't really belong on TWiT. That being said, from what I can tell, he isn't usually invited on but rather just shows up, Leo has booted him in the past when a real guest arrived and the mic/chair was needed.

  • @chuckiej Last I heard TWiT was around 3 million in revenue for the year. I'm sure they'll be ok without you and the other puritans.

  • @Beaupedia Being adults and being accepting of crudeness have nothing to do with each other. My morality also has nothing to do with it. The morality of lots of hard working geeks who won't click on a video (and therefore be advertised to, and therefore become income for TWiT), does however apply to the TWiT network. They certainly want to increase viewership but are instead hindering it. I hold out hope...

  • @chuckiej No one said they NEEDED to, but they certainly can, we're adults. Your morality does not apply to the rest of us.

  • It's not so much crude as it is everyone sitting in a room and just having a conversation about a topic - I like that. If you want something organized and boring, watch real TV.

  • I don't like O'Docta either. He seems a better fit or NSFW. TWIT is often crude and disorganized also
