This song is my favourite song, Elvis sang it beautifully,I too am grateful for the way Priscilla took care of Gracelands which I would love to visit one day. I am a huge Elvis fan always will be.

@rgentry1000 I feel the same way, Been an Elvis Fan and read over 150 books about him. The relationship was complex, all the love in the world isn't going to make a young healthy desireable woman wait and wait and wait. His fans were his first true love! Priscilla did what she felt was right at the time. (my opinion) I have seen Elvis on stage 1970's and met her,; she is spending her life giving back for all he gave her. He was just a man...a very special man.but a man non the less.  Gina

@IdaSputum it shows Prisc must have found it difficult to live up to a ghost she'd not met. Elvis' 1st love went missing cos had to escape old husband shed been sold to aged 14yr by her grandmother. She'd met Elvis at outdoor talent contest, she danced ballet, he sang. She took her kids+ Elvis's child in her tummy,down to Dallas- her car abandoned in snow to fake her death to get away from her 'husband'. She'd cry but scared to contact E for ages in case it wrecked his career like Bobby Darrins

@ShatteredGlass38 see the book by Desiree, his first love who went missing due to family problems & Elvis searched for her, (inspiring song choices like Return to Sender/ Its Breaking My Heart Cos Shes Not You' etc)- you'll be enlightened as to why Elvis got Prisc to take ballet lessons, learn French & die her hair black. All dates of her meeting Elvis match the days when Elvis is absent or on record as meeting her privately again at last n the 70s, Their daughter Desiree is the image of Elvis!

@Musicmylife186 not most resourceful but read Priscilla Presley in Wiki. that she wrote he wasn't the gentle and understanding man she fell for, after his long trips (and other love affairs) she felt that he wasn't interested in her anymore, thats why; my guess is I have no clue as to their love life, but I wish it would've worked out :(

oh that's the real story, I'm happy to hear that...Priscilla love's elvis still...But why they divorce, if they loved each other....sorry for asking...we love elvis so much and we idolize him though we've seen him later because we are still young then, but my auntie was one of the fans here in the philippines, and they were recognized.
