Ezra Taft Benson, former Secretary of Agriculture, in 1986 shares thoughts on the U.S. Constitution, stating it is a Heavenly Banner inspired by God for this nation. That the federal government is trying to destroy it but at last it will be shaved but not in Washington.

  • And THIS, my friends, is why all sensible Mormons should support Ron Paul.

  • CONT

John Adams avoid war...by hoping for peace...but also by preparing for war.

Since Mitt Romney references John Adams so frequently....and is kind and temperate towards Ron Paul (our modern day Thomas Jefferson) that I must admonish all of you (I'm Deist by the way) to actually LISTEN TO MITT WHEN HE SAYS SOMETHING AND TRY TO UNDERSTAND WHAT HE'S SAYING.

Romney on the power of the NDAA /watch?v=elw_O14qo1A

  • Romney/Paul or Paul/Romney

Follow the example of Romney and Paul. They are civil towards one another while Santa & the Grinch are not.

Mormons do not want war. Romney is actually doing exactly what John Adams did....which is to increase the navy. John Adams was reluctant to create an Army (unlike Alexander Hamilton). However he did pass the Aliens and Seditions Act (basically the National Defense Act) in order to deal with...the French Insurrectionists. CONT

  • Look at how romney senior was so strong in avoiding bribes, and don't forget that the LDS standards are never met by anyone who is not LDS. I will vote romney, Itrust any worthy priesthood holder

  • @ITaukeiaho Hmmm, good question. I think some Mormons will vote for Romney, just because he is a Mormon, (who knows why some people vote the way they do). I live in a predominantly Mormon community, am a Mormon and have many many Mormon friends. It seems they are split between Romney and Paul fairly evenly. I only know 1 who supports Gingrich. I will be voting for Ron Paul, even if I have to write him in... again!

  • I am LDS, and I firmly support Ron Paul. I do not believe one man will change everything, but I do believe it is a move in the proper direction. I do not trust Mitt Romney, as he seems to seek the praise of the world. Harder times are coming.

  • @iTaukeiaho....that is a great question. Ron Paul is more in line with Ezra Taft Benson's viewpoint than Mitt Romney. I am LDS and my vote is not automatically for Romney!

  • will mormons vote for Ron Paul or there fellow mormon Mitt Romney, i talked to missionaries that came by my house and asked them this and you know what one of them said...Mitt Romney...why? because he is mormon was his answer...this same type of thing happend with Obama...hope it does not happen again...

  • Pay heed to these words America.

  • @deejtechno22 Thomas Jefferson was considered Deist, not Atheist. Thomas Paine was atheist.
