@crossoldman beloved, tell your compatriots to check out Cimbolic's videos. He came up with a non-god idea of origin which doesn't require ID and doesn't require common ideas of evolution, either.
Viz, that some always-pre-existing LAWS caused the universe to be what it is. So you'd end up seeing the same data, and all you have to solve is the origin of those laws. I try to work with that idea in my ROA series audio links (just posted 2 days ago).
It's a really good non-god alternative.

Sorry, but both sides in this endlessly irrelevant debate over evolution are often wrong. Bible doesn't depict creation as in the video; evolution is also not as theists claim. Etc.
Look: were evolution valid, then there has to be something BEYOND human; the more beyond human, the more immaterial (analogy to more energy than mass). So any type of evolutionary construct more logically points to superbeing(s) than nihil.
So to really decide if God, some OTHER argumentation path is needed.

@brainouty Hi ya Brainouty, I'm looking forward to seeing your Atheist series. I actually just posted this to support Aronra as I felt it was fair use. Especially since he was at the debate and therefore able to fill in some details on audience reaction, ect. I admire the way you and Aron present your arguments, I wish I was as articulate. I do not understand why so many Christians try to stifle legitimate criticism through issuing false DMCA's, I am unaware of any Atheists doing that.
