Tesoro Compadre Finds Silver 6 20 09

My first video. Metal detecting to remove trash.
Here, I am using a Tesoro Compadre.
Finds include silver coins and about 50 pieces of trash.

Today I was just feeling good about finding a 1964 nickel with my Garrett GTi 1500, and then about 5 feet away, on the top of the ground was another nickel, I picked up and it was an 1868 shield nickel. There was a large rain storm recently, and the coin must have been washed out of the ground. So, I have mixed emotions - on one hand, I am happy to find the coin - on the other hand, I can't really say that I found a coin from the 1800's with my detector.

I just "pimped out" my Garrett with a Sunray in-line probe. This works beautifully, and is made in USA. I am really psyched using this device. Maybe they will make one for the Compadre some day . . .
