Both this movie and 3 Idiots show a very very common problem around the world. I passionately love Aamir Khan for trying to show the world, but I'm afraid that it makes little difference. Adults still act this way. I've always been an A grade or B grade student and my family is happy with it, my teachers think I'm brilliant (not to brag or anything). But my interest lies in art. Still my parents think it's better for me to pursue a more wealthy career. I cry myself to sleep about it sometimes.

@bossyboots55 yes i saw it.it was after laagan and dil chahta hai became hits.russel invited aamir in one of his shows.he thought that nobody would know anything about aamir as a huge star.but he got taken aback when he saw girls went crazy about aamiir in his own show,it didnt go down that well with russel,after sometime he went on for another interview where he said some nasty things about aamir ,where he said who the hell was aamir n all that.i'll give u the link,u can see it there.

Did you see that russell peters interview with aamir khan. I thought he was a bit putting aamir down in spite of the glorifying of aamirs movies. I got the impression he thought westerners were so much better. That he was better. He gets his money making fun of ethnic races. Lets see if he has any other more constructive projects to offer. in that respect , yes i do agree with you about the d*****head part. :)

@bossyboots55 I know, thanks =) it helps to have a good strong base to build off of. I'm now thinking of high school choice and it's difficult going deeper into adulthood, but that's life.

why , what did he say? about aamir or about indian movies. yes i saw that clip of him making fun of indian movies. i thought that was hilarious. was he making fun of raja hindustan. it sure looked like it.

some word of advice....do get your degree or whatever.it is an insurance. Then tell yur parents what you want to do and do it !. good luck. ! You have to make your self happy...no one else can. then , at least you have your degree to fall back on if things dont work out. we nver know how our future will turn out, do we, in spite of planning. !
