Speed and snow- not too much to ask right? Well, 49 abides.

The Lake Shore Limited is shown hustling past milepost 374 and the old General Railway Signal plant on the former New York Central Water Level Route. She was running a little late, as this was just past midnight on the west side of Rochester, NY.

Note that the Heritage Diner is back, on the only long-distance train on Empire Service! This train would be in Chicago 12 hours later. Nothing beats trains at night!

  • @intercityrailpal Thank you sir! Lackawanna video forthcoming!

  • This was a very good runby. At speed and included the Mile Post. I plan to take #448 Chi-Spg for the Big "E" trainshow. I'm looking forward to it already. Remember there's nothing lacking on the Lackawanna!
