Mavis the Cat watching birds and chattering

These birds torment our poor cat every day. Here she is on our patio, looking up at the birds from a bench. She squawks, meows and chirps at them because she wants to eat them, I think.

@Jlk2707 Thanks! She is a domestic short hair (pretty much a mutt) with a brown tabby coat. We adopted her from a local shelter in May 2007 and she is about 5 years old now.

Thanks for sharing your video. I had an identical looking female silver tabby named Mavis some twenty years ago who would do chatter at the birds like your Mavis. Funny thing about the cat I had, if you rubbed her eyes she would start purring real loud, go into a catatonic state and her every muscle would go limp for about 30 seconds. Her eyes would even roll backwards. Anyway thanks again for posting; it brings back good memories.
