After such an amazing run-off in Montana this year here's a look at the Flathead River navigation in 2011. Launching at Columbia Falls, MT (FAS-TEAKETTLE) and ending in Kalispell, MT (FAS-Old Steel Bridge). Includes log jams, strainers, white caps where the river bottlenecks (rare view) and a visit from wild geese. Streamflow was 11,300 cfs and water temperature was 57 degrees. read article @ http://www.outacc.com/2011/08/flathead-river-navigation-assessment.html

  • @ForasAccess Wow! I tell you what, if I can get my team of guys to plan a Montana trip, I'll hit you up. In my office there is a core group of about 8 guys that are serious outdoorsmen...usually 3 to 4 of us are free for a trip at any given time. We've talked about Montana but its pretty far. It would be epic, however. Thank you!
