So cool! Amazing! You wouldn't by chance have (or know of/seen) any film of A.C/Boardwalk in the early 1980's would you? My step-dad worked @ Resorts International from 1981-83 & I spent my summers there. We lived in the Seaside Inn (next to Resorts). I was 11yo & it was the best, most memorable time in my life. I can't find so much as a single damn picture of the boardwalk during that time. I went back in 92 & was sad/disappointed. I had some fun, but everything was so different/gone.

Such wonderful memories. My dad owned Green's Army & Navy on Ohio & Atlantic. Wish A.C. was still the same as it was back in the 60's.

Is this States Avenue in the 1960s? It looks like the car is leaving a motel I remember on States (Symphony? Melody? I can't quite remember the name.) My grandmother had an apartment house on States.

Cool car! What was that, a Falcon?

Great flick but would be more effective with an age appropriate soundtrack.

This is an absolutely fantastic video of what Atlantic City, NJ looked like before the casinos came to town! I watched the whole thing! I still go there and shoot video, but I remember the place like it was in this video! I love the scenes that were shot from the boat! You can see the old Atlantic City Convention Hall and the Traymore Hotel! Thank you for sharing!

You should send a copy of this video to the Atlantic City Historical Museum!
That is a great film. Brings back so many memories of old AC. Stel Pier, The Claridge, Capt Starns. the Globe. The Shelburne, The Traymore. Loved it. I loved AC back then. We were lucky kids to grow up in AC. We had fun stuff at our fingertips.
