  • yeah...fight for freedom or die in the process!!!

  • Why RT is not taking interview of Chavez ????

  • @cyberbar20

Businesses which had their feet upon the heads of the people need to close. Sanctions applied by the US and its allies is intended to hurt certain businesses and even the people. It's intended to put pressure on the people so that they put pressure on the government. Again, remember, Chavez was democratically elected when the US played a role in an attempt to overthrow him. Media that collaborate with enemy needs to be closed down.

  • @AfriSynergy you said the condition of the people was worse when the America and European countries were in control of the oil. i dont really agree, but i will say that i do believe that a country should have control over its own natural resources. Since Chavez took control, how many businesses have closed, without replacement? how many media outlets(radio and tv stations) have been shut down for being critical of his rule? is their even a middle class in that country anymore??

  • @cyberbar20

Nationalizing certain industries is a good thing, not bad. The people of Venezuela were far worse prior to nationalizing the oil than they are now. I mentioned Libya because its people has a high standard of living because they have ownership in their oil. Prior to them having that ownership, they were dirt poor while European and American corporations were taking most of the money.

  • @AfriSynergy that's your opinion, i wont argue with you. however, i would like to hear your response to the first message. because it seems to me that Chavez is doing something wrong nationalizing the oil industry. you seemingly agree that he is: "Any country that nationalizes its strategic resources is in trouble, that's the fact." Yet you defend him, even though the people in his country are suffering. so help me out, what is it that i need to understand?

  • @cyberbar20

The American system as it exists need to fall in order for it and the world to move forward. The corruption and viciousness of the international bankers is quite evident.

  • @AfriSynergy Remember, if America falls so does the rest of the world. The economic melt down which we're still trying to recover from has proved just that. So I wouldn't really worry too much. Chavez can do and say as he likes, but if the US stops buying his oil 2morrow he's screwed. We are his biggest trading partner after all. Thats the reason he can't and won't cut off the supply to the US.

  • @cyberbar20

Also, a few months after Bush became president, his administration conspired in a coup attempt against Chavez. On a different note, I would be more concerned about what's soon going to happen to the US dollar, it's going to be greatly devalued.
