The Lion Dance is a traditional dance performed to bring in luck, happiness, and prosperity. Each lion has two performers who mimic the actions of a lion to the beat of the drum. The drum beat represents the roar and soul of the lion, and the lions chase away the evil spirits. In this performance, four lions perform a traditional Lion Dance and are teased by a happy Buddha. The traditional Lion Dance will then evolve into a more modern dance style facilitated by the Buddha
