At the edge of Machupicchu, there is a steep tall mountain. At the tip of this mountain, the ruins of Waynapicchu look down at everything around them. To reach these ruins there is an exceptionally difficult path, one which not everyone is capable of climbing. Without a doubt this was the most arduous, most challenging climb I faced on the Inca trail. But it was worth every quickened breath, every bead of sweat, for when you reach the summit and stand on the giant rocks, you stand jubilant and proud...If ever there was a time when I felt like I was at 'the top of the world', this was it!!!
