Ok so let me start from the begining
We are born kicking and screaming violently into this world
Covered in blood and shit and god knows what else
Right into the cold sterilized hands of some decrepid old man or woman
Some women die after giving life but hey the circle goes on right?
As we grow information is shoved down our throats like stale bread
Only to be washed down with the sweet wine of lies
The only thing we learn naturally is to either keep it down or throw up
What you decide to keep down is only really for your own benifit anyway
From very early on we kiss the ass of those who will help us go further
Make more money and churn it out on things we don't even need
That fancy car with every accecory to make science fiction seem posible
The perfect partner to hang off of your arm like your the prize catch in the sea
You want all those who help you to go further to like you
Prehaps you feel sorry for those below you
But feel good when they start kissing your ass to get somewhere
And when they do you'll never let them get anywhere just make them feel important
Because ofcourse the only important one is you
The number One, the big cheese
And why not? after all you can only see the world through your own eyes
So how does God view everything? Probably pretty much the same as you
For people you don't know or have no interest in why care about them?
People die and the world is a bag of shit. Why not make something out of it?
As they say you only live once and with that one life try to fly
Get the birds eye view of things and land on the occaisional cherry tree.
Fuck why not pop a few cherrys while your at it.
And when all's said and done
When the night draws close and people retire home
Who do you turn to?
What did you make of your life and how will people remember you?
Because thats the thing right? you want to live forever
But you know that one day you will have to kick the bucket
So your life, one big show, the grand play and your the hero.
Play out the best story imaginable and go out with a bang
Problem is people will forget
Your name and who you are will be but a whisper on the wind
The dust settles and you fade away like some young punks worn out jeans
If you could see and hear the world would you scream in agony for recognition
Or would you sit in the corner knowing that all you've done adds up to nothing
The people you've used, your spit on the side walk made no impresstion
So much as a great and distant war on a battle field long forgotten
But with your death comes the life of some one some where
So can you celebrate and sit back acknowledge a job well done?
Your brick in the pavement of humanity stamped in good
Good enough to smother nature right underneath
Because in essence as you look at the human race as a whole
Its a parasite a terminal decease with no hope of a cure
Eating away like some fat kid on the world and all it has to offer
Just look outside do you see a road? a pavement? thats all convinience right?
Humanity the asphalt that covers the world
And everyone is a black bit to keep it inplace
Is that how you want things to be?

Some awsome points there Key. I agree with a lot of what you say - we're stuck in this world and we have to make the most of it. For a lot of people I guess that does mean kissing ass, stepping on others and also being ground into society for the sake of more money or whatever. Sometimes you have to - just to survive in such a world. But grass pushes through those bricks. You cant save everyone and I guess it is selfish that we judge and choose who we help and how much, but is there another way?
