The Ongole (also known as or nelore or nelor or nellore) bulls training in rajupalum village of Kadapa district in AP, India. The Ongole bulls are known for their power and majestic looks. Also they are one of the biggest breeds of bulls with some of the best bulls weighing upto 1 ton ! They are native of India (to be specific of Andhra Pradesh and we are VERY PROUD OF THAT !) but fate has it that they were accidentally exported to Brazil where the numbers of this breed outnumber those in India :-(. However we still havent lost them completely and their numbers are increasing slowly in India, thanks to the increasing stone or boulder pulling competitions being held in AP during the festival seasons of Sankranthi (Jan), and Sivarathri (Feb). This video is that of 2 young ongole bulls being trained for competitions before they take on the BIG BOYS !!! We are glad to provide more info to protect this unique breed, a symbol of pride of India !
