  • @bnvn1 well no shit youre gonna loose control -.- get snow tires ;)

  • Yeah, I drive from Little Rock to Pine Bluff to get to school. It's supposed to snow in Little Rock, & freeze rain in Pine Bluff Monday. I'm keeping my butt home that day.

  • 2:04 - I've never seen this sort of camera angle on a car before. Very creative. What model of video camera are you using if I can ask?

  • @stormhighwaycom It would be cool to see this scenario with AWD and studded tires. They're legal in most states during winter months. I drive non-studded, though haven't needed them much so far this season.

  • @DrewdogG8 Winter tires do help you get moving on snow, but this type of 'black ice' is so slick that no tire can ensure control over 25mph or on an incline. The coefficient of friction between this type of ice and rubber is so small that tread configuration doesn't help with grip levels. Only spiked tires can offer any real help in these conditions, which unfortunately aren't practical (or in the lower 48, even legal).

  • @stormhighwaycom you def get around better with AWD and winter tires.

  • On this type of ice, the type of tire makes no difference. There is no safe way to go more than 25mph in these conditions.

  • So I just watched some of you vids and could it be possible that all americans are using stock tires for winter driving?I moved to america 2 years ago but im from germany i brought my cars and its winter tires to the us and I really dont have any problems .......

  • Neat shots! Did you have someone watching over the camera along the roadsidewhen you were taping?

  • I LOVE your license plate.
