they are not socialist/marxists, they are capitalists who want reasonable government intervention.

The vast majority of the best economists in the country and in the world want government intervention on capitalism. This isn't a black or white issue. Its not capitalism vs socialism. There is a middle ground.

Fine. Rebuke the idiots and the criminals, that's perfectly appropriate. Just don't paint everyone who disagrees with you with the same broad tar brush. Reasonable and good people can disagree, and they can both have merits to their ideals. I have few problems with capitalism, but neither do I agree with the strictly utilitarian view of humanity, capitalism or death, that you hold.

I work too and care about getting people up on their feet. You obviously don't know how some are "working" the system.

The system awards laziness. Thats how you get money. Make less and less every year and get a big tax refund and health care etc.

We are rewarding hopelessness and passivity!
