SOMEONE SHOULD MOVE THAT HAMMER

balancing wont ever be perfect, engine vibration depends by RPMs
-
That's a great idea...
Plus you've got a real knee mill you can use when not balancing cranks instead of a dedicated crank balancer that has only one use.

It will be necessary to balance your rotating assembly if you want the engine to be smooth and reliable. The only exception would be if you purchased the assembly pre-balanced, and even then it should be checked by a local machine shop.

The balancer can be seen at crankbalancer dot kom. The software is available for download by calling Turner Technology. These balancers are made in the USA, and have an excellent reputation for accuracy and reliability.

Smoother RPMs, less ware on the bearings, quieter engine operation.
