my 65 gallon oscar tank

this is a 65 gallon tank with two oscars and a pleco. they all get along most of the time but sometimes the oscars will sit on top of the pleco. i think they do it just to get a rise out of me. they are by far the most playful fish i have ever owned. also the most messy. i have two 70 gallon back hanging filters and two 50 gallon skimmers running my undergravel filter. Even with all that they still need weekly water changes. well worth the work though.

no, i use two 50 gallon aqua clear powerheads. they move more water and don't need a lot of parts replaced all the time.

Oscar's are still my fav fish. Their personality is amazing. I would always recommend and oscar over anything else if you like moody/active fish :)

oh but keep in mind thats a pretty heavy stocked tank. careful maintenance and good filtration a must!

would def. work.  I'd put in a couple blue acara's with it to watch the oscar abuse them a bit... its fun

I have a 75 gal. with 2 monster Oscars..your tank is plenty big enough everyone is always saying bigger bigger tank..As long as you keep it clean you can have two Oscar with much luck

yes 65 for one oscar is good size just dont put too much decor

Why do you have plants with oscars? The oscars will tear them up soon. And, Is that black one a tiget or red, I can't really tell.
