Maire, Pol and Ciaran Brennan sang and played from an early age in their father's bar, Leo's Tavern. Soon they were accompanied by their uncles, Padraig and Noel Duggan, winning a talent contest in Letterkenny in 1970. Their first album, 'Clannad' was released in 1973. They were celebrated at home, and found an appreciative folk audience in Germany. The 1982 album , 'Fuaim', featured sister Enya.

I have this on a CD and it is just another display of how versatile or SP is!!!! He can sing ANYTHING and do it with PERFECTION!

@TheClannadChannel Okay but don't hold a grudge for what my ancestors did. It was the crazy English Empire and it's thirst for riches. You still see it today... soldiers fighting wars not because they want to but because they're told to. Remember at this time England was harsh to it's own people too, you either had money or you didn't. The king was just power mad...
