KO only laughed at Hanks song ending use by football, which is not the media, and had no collusion with the media on the decision to our knowledge. It was an immediate decision by them before the media said it wouldnt air the song.

The Dixie chicks said they were ashamed of their president, and they were pretty much blacklisted by alot, that was horrible orreaction by so called patriots

Hank Jr uses Hitler which should never be used, its a discussion killer, and nobody suggests blacklisting him, not even KO, but he does get knockback for it, as he should

When the Dixie Chicks finally returned to America, their music was taken off the radio, their music sales were down, and they were no longer accepted in society. For their remark and belief against the president, the band received numerous death threats and hateful comments.

What was the vehicle used to do this to them? THE MEDIA.

The media does control public opinion...your false comparisons don't hold water...

@waltermh111 You and I debating this topic, is free speech, when our "4th estate" demonizes someone they don't like, it isn't. As we've all witnessed, recall the run-up to the Iraq invasion. Our "4th estate" defended and pushed for it, remember Donohue? He was the only MSM anchor that told it like it was, an illegal & unconstitutional action...what happened to him again? He was fired. They aren't welding free speech, they are welding a weapon to divide & shape opinion in ways never imagined!
