@MegaTony206 jailbroken means ipod, iphone, and ipad are running the its same firmware but it unlocks limited system operations on the device.Adding anything you want to the the device. Can easily be reversed by a restore with itunes.
Jailbreak is much much better. By default, there is very little you can. Man is really ridiculous if you do not want to jailbreak his iphone ipod touch or ipad just because it is 1 second slower.
Overall a good test. I have some concerns however...
1) Does battery life matter? iPods (and iPhones) might be designed to throttle speed as battery life gets lower.
2) On the jailbroken iPod touch, Bluetooth is on.
3) There might be too many applications running in the background on the jailbroken iPod. The 2 iPods should be restarted prior to testing (were they?)
4) I've used iPods and iPhones before and I don't think the difference is not that noticeable.

@tomthecat94 ipod touchs run slower when they have lower battery. the jailbroken one was almost dead so this isnt a good test.
