Metal Gear Solid 2 BETA [Removed parts from the game!]

In the MGS2 beta, the player must get away from the inondation in the tanker, but Mr. kojima removed this part of the game because it was not funny to play.

@ae86takumi This video has the part I am talking about.. Solidus reaches for the flag and also as Raiden swings the HF blade at the end, the flag drops on Solidus... very epic.. why did they take it out?

You gotta remember that the Harrier Battle in the bridge was cut out because of 9/11. Originally there was an scene where Arsenal Gear would crash over Manhattan, but we only see the aftermath.

Also and very important, as Solidus is falling from the top of Federal Hall, if everyone notices, he reaches out to emptiness, However in the original draft, Solidus was reaching for the American flag.. look at the video again.. and you'll see
