I think it sounds pretty good the way it is... I like that warm spank on the neck pickup.. Thing is I work at GC and can get a standard for same price but you know how the mexi's are their quality is up and down... So I might just go Rondo.. :-)

I love that you apologize for your lack of metal chops! Ha! No worries buddy, you're doing okay in the chops (metal, blues etc.etc.) department. @quiksilverdew hi!! i'm planning to buy this guitar and change the pickups for a more telesound with wilkinsons or tonerider pickups, would you reccomen it??

@ivncdo0809 I would definitely recommend it. This is a guitar that you will want to just pick up and play more than any other because it is so easy to toss it around and not worry about it. I mean 250 bucks for a mid level guitar? That's a great price especially when compared to a 500 dollar Fender Tele. I would definitely take the money you save and get some nice pickups. I hear good things about Rumpelstiltskin Pickups and they are pretty cheap. Bareknuckle competitor. Good luck.
