@smydie No, it does not.. Or - yes, it looks like 9000 years ago! You should count Kri-Kri's every year now to see the difference. Almost all the valuable wood is taken and every year Origanum Dictamnus can be lesser and lesser visible. Hope "the crisis" will not destroy the rest.. Samaria Gorge is not supposed to be only plain configuration of the land and mountains.

I know what u mean. I was exhousted when I came to the end, but I wont forget how beautiful it was in the city at the end and the nature was great. :P
And I was actually so stupid when we had to jump on the rocks to get on the other site of the big stream I walked over it and got a blizzard and trench foot almoste at the beginning. :P

I stupidly got to the beach at the bottom and then decided to walk back up!!!

I did this walk a week ago August 2009 - it was hard as hell i thought, never again! It wasnt so much the distance but the path was horrific, treacherous stones everywhere lol.
Unless you stop you cant enjoy the scenery, the majority of the time you arfe looking at the floor, anyone who has been here will know what i mean.
