As part of the USC Alumni Association's Orange County Distinguished Speaker Series, James G. Ellis, dean of the USC Marshall School of Business and a marketing professor, speaks about how a premier business school such as USC Marshall continues to explore ways to train leaders who will build a better world in which we all can live and prosper. Topics include ethics, community service, corporate governance, sustainability and the environment, and the use of business tools and approaches to cure societal ills.
Prior to being appointed dean, Ellis was USC's vice provost for globalization, responsible for building the USC name worldwide. He also served the USC Marshall School of Business as vice dean for external relations and as associate dean for undergraduate programs. In 2004, the USC Parents' Association recognized him with its "Outstanding Teaching and Mentoring Award."
