Until I Met You [Intro]

As promised the intro to my new story - Until I Met You!

INTRO
As if my life wasn't bad enough all ready, my brilliant mother decided to send me to live with my Godfather. She thought I was out of control because I went to parties and got drunk - big deal! Where I am from everybody does it so why shouldn't I? I wasn't even that bad. It's not like I slept around or did anything illegal - like most others did. I even went to school - on most days anyways. Most of my friends had already dropped out of high school and was encouraging me to do the same thing. But I knew that if I wanted a place to live, I had to stay in school - one of my mom's inspired rules.

I know I was hard on my mom, sometimes I was even intentionally mean to her but it is easier being mad and taking it out on someone who is right in front of you than one who went out for ice cream and never came back.

I think the final straw for my mom was when I let my friends crash at our house and they ended up trashing it completely. I don't blame her for being mad but all she had to do was put up with me for 9 more months. Then I'd turn 18 and be out of there. But no - she had to make the decision of sending me to live with a man I had met once, a different country, away from all my friends - away from everything I knew.

The drive to the airport was very quiet. I had nothing to say to her. Right now I hated her as humanly possible. She had tried to talk to me but I just plugged in me head phones and turned up the music. She followed me to the gate. Probably to make sure I got on and didn't just go back and crash at one of my friends'. Just before I boarded she tried to hug me but I just stood there.

I found my seat in the back of the plane - figures she got me the cheapest ticket available. I sat down and pulled my hoddie over my cap. I looked out the window. I shook my head, leaned back and closed my eyes. Well this is it - Goodbye Denmark and Hello America...
