- outbreak of the Spanish Civil War, after which Bunuel left Spain;
- Catherine Deneuve on Bunuel's attitude to women;
- interview with Fernando Rey, star of many Bunuel films.
- Bunuel's move to Mexico in 1946, which became permanent.

There is also an extract from the film 'Tristan' (1971), which stars Deveuve and Rey.

Documentary from 1984, with contuining apologies for audio and video quality.

  • This was screened on Australian TV sometime in the 1990s, which is where this copy comes from. I've never come across this on video.

    Sorry, I have no idea where you could get Land Without Bread in English. It certainly doesn't appear to be available on DVD at the moment. If you do track it down, please post a commnt here to let people know about it. Good luck. Thanks for watching despite the low quality video and audio.

  • "me repugna la idea del beso" jaja ese es el maestro luis buñuel!...je ne sais pas parce que l´age ou le temps qui'l vivré au Mexique ce trés mmm peu parle, peu comment de sont cinematographie, si vous estance ou mexique cetait quand se formme BUÑUEL (vingt films, vingt!)...et les images presente en cette documental sur mexique sont "cliches europennes", ne pas le vrai mexique
