A Reverse crash or maybe a swoosh sound effect as the intro ends and comes into the track. For amateur mastering start with making everything consistent, make sure the drums arnt too loud, synths instruments etc, Just make sure it flows together. Listen to professional instrumentals and it can help with ideas, techniques and shit good luck

ok, First off, you if you are going on a cheap budget and using garadgeband, I would suggest getting logic pro 9 or express 9, its way better. second add a limiter to the drums so they wont clip, and third just experiment, don't let MOTHMANESYKK bring you down, you can do good just keep making music.

@HalSamuel The real secret to getting punch is filtering. I know it seems strange that taking away gives more back, but it's one of the stranger principles of sound. Before you do you're proper mix it helps to take a high-pass filter and remove any lowend in the sound that's not needed. This is a subtle process - essentially you want the sound to remain intact, it's just those almost unnoticed low end sounds that you want to get rid of, they muddy up the mix without you necessarily noticing them

@vonsusername You know honestly I was making that comment based on the name of the video, I was just sort of discussing the title. I actually think there's an admirable humility about coming on Youtube and asking for advice - most people get so caught up in pride that they can't acknowledge to themselves that they have so much to learn like the rest of us. Whatever you're intention with music making I admire that attitude.

Ill say....you mustve improved by now ...im assume since this vid is like a year old.
I think when it comes to making music there are some harsh realities to face. Now there is so much you can improve, polish, deepen and expand with your musical ability. But at the end of the day.. If you can't hear it in your head, if you don't hear you're ideas and know when you've got something good.. you're going nowhere fast.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that, if you're beats sound unprofessional you've got nothing to worry about, that will come with time. You've got to have good ideas

For the bass, try using EQ (equalizer) to boost the lower frequencies, or just use a LowPass filter. This will give the bass more "oomph." Also, if u want the bass to be louder without peaking, try using compression and increasing the gain. U could also try a HighCut filter to remove some of the higher end reverb. And for transitioning after the intro, KnockedOut87 had some good advice.
