The demo contains 2 new tracks I submitted to Andy Sites.(New producer for Planetside 2). To all the players of the original "Planetside", I would like to extend my personal thanks for all your kind words and I hope to get the opportunity to compose and produce more new music for you.
Warm Regards,
don ferrone
At 3:37 it gets awesome. I love all the parts with the soft vocal chanting in the background.

Really hope you get the gig Don. Planetside 1 had a lot of utterly beautiful music. The NC theme, and the TR theme with the celtic vocals were sublime and really stood out as being perfect for when they were used in the game.
Good luck!

PS1 had great music! I never turned them off. This track sounds promising

I wasn't enamoured with the first thirty seconds, but it came together when the electric violin kicked in. I'd rather the song simply start at that point - felt distinctly Planetside.

I think since PlanetSide is warfare on an epic scale, there should be less jazz 'feel' to the music and a more 'epic' / full orchestra sound to the music. The last part to the second song is really epic, I think that is the direction that PlanetSide2 music should be.

Still like the first part of this - like a Vanu scientist in slow motion, walking away with an enemy tech plant behind him, smoking a cig, and just as he drops the butt to the ground, 3 Vanu Liberators swoop down and explode the damn thing behind him. And he hops into his Thresher and drives off...

@shizlnit I could almost agree with you with any other game, but with PS it would be a crime to turn the music off.

The first song greatly reminds me of the cave themes, which i really enjoyed. Glad that Don's style has leaked into PS2 as well.
