Concept car presented as a result of a study for the contest Volkswagen Design Talent 2007. The theme was "Back to the Future" and the car chosen for redesign was the famous TL 1600 Fastback (Type 3).

Very nice! But it would look with the fish-gill air intakes on the backguard.

Looks cool but may be a marketing miss. The big selling point of the VW fastback was that it had trunk space front and rear. Today we're just not willing to sacrifice power to be able to do what they did back then with the engine. Perhaps if you powered this with a flat boxer Porsche motor you could still pull it off.. but even the "flat" boxer motors today are huge by VW beetle standards.
Great job on the look though.. doors especially.

Nice interior, bot otherwise this car looks like nearly every other modern concept car, not to mention the windows look like they'd be too little to see much out of.

the space for air to pass through the engine is missing from the front bumper,the grill, nice car though,well done

Maybe in front , if you put a big grill
(like the old shelby cobra)It will be better.But I liked your project.
