have you changed anything or have you just put the bulbs in?

Straight swapped the bulbs and took those little plasic cover things off the original bulbs and put them over the new bulbs

so the bulb changes their color itself and brakes for a second before changing further?

Yes, they are called either Disco or Rainbow bulbs. I got the ones that fade slowly from colour to colour rather than the ones that flash

I've typed the ebay-number in you have written a few comments ago and I've found "2x Rainbow Bulbs" for £2,5 ... are these the right ones?
