http://www.johnchow.com The Tesla Model S is the only premium sedan engineered from the ground up as an electric car. It can seat five adults and two children. Model S will be offered with three battery pack options: 160-,230-, or 300-mile range. Tesla will begin delivering the Model S starting in mid-2012.
The base US Model S with a 160 mile battery pack has an anticipated base price of $49,900 (after the $7500 federal rebate).

@VannHerrenDesigns cuz the current grill is just fake plastic (aka not a grill at all) so no air can get in, so I assume that an air intake isn't needed.

@titan13131 you know that if an electrical component has a heat sink on it that means it needs to stay cool. Even computers need air to cool them, why would an ev not?

but... it would be still be fake cuz this car doesn't need an air intake. It's like when they put a zip on clothes, but there's no pocket, the zip is just for looks but serves no purpose. Kinda lame.

@titan13131 they could put a heavier grill made of metal if you want, will lower your range =P
