I am sure my message is deleted again very fast like all critical posts I saw here. This Plugin is nonsense because you always had this functionality in Google search by using the "verbatim" option. Then you get not personalized results which don't prefer your personal content in Google+. I see this plugin as nothing else than a simple try to make Google more bad than it is. But not all users are so stupid to oversee this ;-)

Google should promote it's own products only, it's not a charity. Don't like it? Use Bing or Yahoo and let the market speak for itself. Google is a business not a charity...

They don't have a monopoly. Their product is just superior to all the other search engines. To have a monopoly they would have to be the only search engine available and clearly they are not, since you used Bing.

Shock! Horror! Google promotes their own products!!! Why did you click on Jamie Olivers' Google+ profile when clearly you were searching for "cooking" not "Jamie Oliver"? It clearly says "People and Pages on Google+ related to cooking", can you not see that? The results for cooking are where they have always been. Try being more specific by including "twitter" or "facebook" and you'll get different results. What a beat up! Idiots.

It's sad that google has a monopoly on search engines. I have tried using bing but it's crap compared to google

Yea, BUT. All the time people have spent building their "social graph" on Twitter and FB: come on. That is represents their real social Web contributions, not what they've done in 1/2 year on Goog plus. Having said that, I personally love goog +.

    So what???

Google wants to advertise they're own social network on they're own search engine?? There is nothing wrong with that at all.

;-) Google is now for a few month online with this site and the quality of content is already amazing. I have added a circle with science people and this pushed my search results into amazing hights because of exactly this personalized content. And even for those who can't uptake this great improvements there is the chance to turn it of with the "verbatim" switch which makes this plugin senseless and comments like yours nonsense.

here you can read that you are wrong:(search for the first result of "google blog verbatim" because links don't seem to work?!?) Think a second: For what reason shouldn't Jamie Oliver's Google+ page appear on first place if it is the most relevant result? This has nothing to do with the personalization...
