Early-season EF2 tornado that damaged several homes and businesses in Edmond, Oklahoma on 10 February 2009. This video was shot from Exit 151 of I-35, just north of Edmond; the view is to the WSW. The tornado is about five miles away and rain-wrapped, which is why it appears with such low contrast.
The "storm chasers" are meteorology graduate students, all with at least five years' experience in storm research and who know how to conduct themselves safely in and around severe weather.

The hail was nasty with this, dented my old broken car badly, and put a dent in my less than a year old jeep. The damage path of the tornado passed about a mile south of my house.

Dammit! I was through that area 4 days before, too. Horrible timing on my part, but great video!

in short, something along the lines of "you're gonna get raped!"? D:
man, we get water tornadoes (waterspouts) from time to time, but these tornadoes are not that strong nor last much, but these out in the US are damn scary.
