  • Real cool mix. I wished id of got the chance to experience the studio 54 days for myself.

  • @Dancer810 Right on!

  • @Dancer810 Right on Dancer810!

  • @HBStep Well, disco music will ALWAYS get a party started! In my experience, it never fails. I think if today's music industry execs had any common sense, they would change the heavy emphasis on hip-hop. I'd love it if they brought disco back because it appealed to EVERYONE, and it was all feel-good party music. On the other hand, hip-hop appeals to a very specific demographic, and the lyrics are about dark topics from "the hood" and often include profanity. Just makes no sense to me.

  • @Dancer810 I totally agree with you. There's SOME Old School hip hop I like but the current stuff makes me sick. I too can't believe it's still hanging on. I'd rather listen to classic rock than the crap I hear on the pop stations. When I'm hanging with friends and want to get the party started I always pull out the disco!

  • @HBStep When I said "crap" I wasn't referring to house music but to rap/hip-hop, which seems to have taken over the popular music scene. I've always hated it and can't wait for it to go away! It's hard to believe that rap/hip-hop has had longer "staying power" than disco ever did, considering how popular disco was and how many people loved it, even to this day. Disco had about 5 good years and pretty much died by the end of 1980, but rap/hip-hop has been around for over 25 years. Go figure!

  • @Dancer810 I agree with you that the music back then was amazing...I lived it too. But in defense of today's music I LOVE much of the new dance stuff, particularly certain house music. If you've ever seen DJ Mark Farina or DJ heather live you would still get your groove on :)

  • You worked that mixed! OMG!! You should be paid for that one! Take it from an old guy here!! Oh wow!

  • Speechless...

Word are so ... not enough.

  • Kinda had the thriller beat a little.

Ive heard the stories from my mom.

She got in there 4 times.

Thats how she met my dad.

See it goes to show being beautiful and having loads of money
