"Pressure Cooker" by Magnus 'SoulEye' Pålsson, off PPPPPP (2010 under Pop/Dance/Electronica), in Rock Band 3 on XBox 360. Expert All Instruments Mode, Pro displayed when applicable.

Yes, there's a vocal track. And it's one V short of the proper title, but oh well. Another storm of a keys part, lots of fast chord shifts, with a deceptive little disco beat.

Guitar: 5 || Drums: 4 || Vocals: 0 (1 Part) || Bass: 4 || Keys: 6 (Pro: 6) || Full Band: 5

  • Wow. This song looks crazy fun for all instruments. Is there more from these guys in the pipeline?

  • Positive Force has released as well, Potential for Anything is coming in time (it's in test), and Max Confidence (unrelated to VVVVVV) will come as well.

  • At about 0:45 and all the other parts like it, shouldn't the keys part go F# - G#, not F# to G? Otherwise looks cool!

  • I dunno, our audio parsing gave F#-G, it might be one where it's a few cents off, or it doesn't properly hit G# until after the note, or something like that. But, nobody gave any complaints about it being G, and it seemed right for us.

  • Seriously? Without any musical knowledge, you can tell that the phrase ends on the same note as it starts, so why would you need a machine to tell you otherwise? If you played it like that it would sound awful (in a real band) because that note isn't even in the scale that the song is in! I'm so sick of RBN authors not caring because "oh, dur, it's close enough". Seriously, if you played a note that was one half tone away from the rest of the band, it would sound awful.

  • WHAT THE FUCK, THIS IS AWESOME. GO VVVVVV

  • At least this one *has* vocals.

  • Vocals looks boring. :/

  • I don't understand what's up with the drums part. The hi hat should be constant with either fully closed or open-closed, which are one and two sequence beat, but it moves from Y to B to Y in a three sequence.

  • AWESOME!

    Though I was hoping the drums would have that fast bass noise charted to the bass drum.

  • Awesome!
