48-50 LOWER BRIDGE STREET , CHESTER, CH11RS
Built in 1622, Ye Olde Kings Head is located in the heart of Chester close to a wide selection of cosmopolitan shops, bars and restaurants. The Inn houses 8 letting rooms with two 4-poster bed suites. All rooms have en-suite facilities with tea and coffee making facilities being provided in each room. Being a traditional timber framed black and white building YE Olde Kings Head retains the character of old Chester. Some of the many features of this historic building are the Elizabethan fireplaces and a particular timber beam taken from one of Admiral Lord Nelson's ships that sank off the coast of Blackpool. The Inn offers bead and breakfast with each room as well as a traditional pub food menu with weekend roast dinners.Scenic walks are easily reached from the establishment, with the River Dee being 5 minutes walk. Also, the Roman walls that surround the ancient city are 2 minutes away and encircle the town for two miles.
