This video was requested after the last time I colored my hair and here it is finally ;) This is the way I dyed mine and it could be totally wrong but I liked my results. Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe.
xo Leigh Ann

Simple Steps:
1. Hair must be lightened if it is a dark color. Remember that hair color results are always affected by the natural/unnatural colors underneath.
2. Mix color with white conditioner to dilute it to make whatever bright color you want the softer pastel tone you desire.
3. Mix mix mix
4. Section your clean dry hair
5. Apply color evenly to sections and use foil if youd like.
6. Check hair after 10-15 minutes
7. I let mine sit for about 20-30 minutes but the processing time is ultimately up to you.
8. But dont forget to check it ;)
9. Rinse out with cool water until it runs clear.
10. Use color protecting shampoo and be prepared to recolor in the near future. xo
** Dont forget to read the instructions on the hair color you buy!

  • i didnt watch the whoel video but is this hair dye permanent?

  • So you didn't need to add heat ? Cause I want to do teal from the same brand of dye, and I have very dark brown hair, so I have to bleach it first anyways.

    But yeah...please help !

  • @sooyoungie no heat :)

  • punky color sticks pretty well. you can find it at ulta. :) i used to use that and then i switched to pravana which is a permanent so i wouldn't recommend that for what you want. <33

  • @xdollix I actually never heard anything about that brand and didnt even think to look at ulta. deerrr O_o hahah

I dont know why I didnt think to just ASK YOU for advice. I will next time :) Thanks for watching love xo

  • It looks really cute and i love that its not loud and horrible looking.

  • The vast majority of these kind of dyes (Raw, Special Effects etc.) are vegetable dyes, and have little chance of damaging your hair by themselves. The longer you leave the dye on (I have gone hours with it on) the stronger the color and the longer it will last. They all wash out every time you wash your hair, I found that washing every other day made it last a lot longer. Also, don't go to bed with wet hair it will come off on your pillow cases (this means no white towels too!) scary!

  • @leighannsays so how long does it last?

  • I have used manic panic and special-effects, and special-effects last the longest, it was kinda hard to get rid of really. and don't worry fun colors wont damage your hair at all. it's just pigments and veggie-oil.

  • will these color dyes stain the bleached blonde?? I want to do this instead of chalking but im scared to "ruin" my light hair.

  • that kind of color is deposit only so the longer you leave the longer it will stay.. bleaching is the part that damages your hair, the color and conditioner restores keratin!

  • Were you on coach trip?

  • i found your video and really liked it. you are one of those people who have a good personality and are entertaining to watch.

  • your teeth are perfect !

  • not like that.. punkroouack. hahaha love you!

  • La riche- directions is the best it stays in for ages not needing bleach or conditioner .. :)

  • i love your necklace! where is it from?
